How they were herded at Hastings Park and relocated to the interior, accepting their fate of where they ended: in road camps, working beet fields of Alberta and Manitoba, ghost towns and hastily built camps in the BC mountains, the countries only POW camp in Angler, Ontario, or whatever they could find east of the Rockies. Included is stories of how they re-established themselves after the war facing racial bias, economic hardship and failure to be recognized as first class citizens by the government.
